Greek outfitPanetolikos have been able to bring in Sierra Leone star Alhassan Kamara on a two-year contract. The 25-year-old claims that the presence of TraianosDellas was a decisive factor in helping him convince about a move to Greek football.Dellas was part of the Greek team that managed to create history by winning the Euro 2004. He is now trying to make a career in management and one of his key signings since becoming a manager is Kamara. The player was on the books of Swedish outfit Hacken BK but he has left the team by mutual consent.
“I chose Panetolikos because they’re are a serious club and have a good coach. I also got motivated as coachDellas played alongside Sierra Leonean legend Mohamed Kallon at AEK Athens and also played for AS Roma. I believe I’ll create impact in Greece under Dallas.I had offers to go Qatar, Dubai and other places but I believe moving to Panetolikos is a step up to my career,” said Kamara after making the switch to Greek football, which will see him come up against the likes of Panserraikos.
